Rhonda Lickman

Rhonda Lickman is a Motown-raised educator with over 16 years of experience teaching music to young children and 10 years as a special education summer camp music leader. 

Now based in Hickory, NC, Rhonda is an active member of the local music community, singing and performing with area groups. She plays a wide range of instruments including ukulele, violin, hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, and handpan drums, bringing a rich and engaging musical experience to her students.

Rhonda offers Spanish & Music classes and beginner ukulele classes for children, combining language, rhythm, and movement into playful, hands-on learning. She creates a joyful, inclusive environment where kids build confidence, spark creativity, and have fun learning—whether singing in Spanish, strumming their first chords, or discovering a love for music.
