About
Hickory Music Factory is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2012 by Tony Eltora and Rick Cline. The vision is to provide students and community members with opportunities to learn, create, and experience music in a welcoming environment that fosters creativity, originality, and inclusion. The organization is committed to removing barriers to participation, including financial challenges, learning differences, and physical disabilities.
As a performing arts school, Hickory Music Factory grows through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders throughout the Greater Hickory region.
Serving more than 300 registered families, the organization offers private lessons, ensembles, classes, and monthly performance opportunities for students of all ages. Its dedicated instructors share a philosophy that collaborative music-making and regular performance are essential to musical growth and development.
With support from the City of Hickory, Arts Culture Catawba, local businesses, and private donors, Hickory Music Factory is committed to providing affordable, high-quality music education and programs for the community.
